Martin was a Roman Soldier of the Fourth Century.
One day he met an elderly beggar by the roadside.
Martin cut his own cloak in half and shared it with the beggar.
The example of St Martin is an integral part of our charity ethos. The work that we do relies upon the work of volunteers, sharing what they have; their time, their skills, their compassion. However we need regular funding to continue to operate our services.
St Martin's Cloak is our cover.
We ask for people to consider making a small but regular donation to Rotherfield St Martin. You can make a one off donation through our online donation facility with LocalGiving.com.
Our donation form is a PDF document, which you need to download and print before completing by hand.
We are also able to claim back Gift Aid on donations from taxpayers - Basic rate tax is 20 per cent, so this means that if you give £10 using Gift Aid, it’s worth £12.50 to RSM.
Please consider joining in St Martin's Cloak and giving regularly to Rotherfield St Martin.
