Monday 12 November, Rev Steve Mann Superintendant of the local Methodist circuit came to speak to us, as well as to present a cheque form Bert Mitchell's legacy, which has allowed us to acquire the "Burtmobile" - our new wheelchair van.
Steve spoke about how he studied mathematics and trained as an accountant, but became called to ministry, working both in East London and on Dartmoor and now at the Vale Royal Methodist Church in Tunbridge Wells.
Rev. Steve Mann as Hiawatha. November 2012
Steve spoke about how he feld God had guided his life and how christianity today can be more than a moral code but also a living embodiment of faith.

Steve was presented with one of our blankets produced by our Knitting & Nattering Group.
