Simon Wilson from East Sussex Healthcare came to speak to us on Monday 20 May 2013.
Simon has been involved in drafting a strategy for making sure patients have a positive experience of healthcare in East Sussex.
He asked us to share our positive and negative experiences in healthcare. Many of our members had good experiences of being in hospital, but there where also accounts of problems that arose from poor communication - occasions where people were not treated with the care and understanding that they need.
The aim of the project that Simon is involved in is to develop a strategy that East Sussex healthcare can follow to make sure that patients are able to receive the good quality healthcare they need consistently.
